About Us
EMMS International is Scotland's longest-serving international healthcare charity. Since 1841, we have set out to improve the healthcare offered to the poorest, hard-to-reach communities in the world. We do this through a multi-faceted approach, developing healthcare resources via education, improving infrastructure and the environment, tackling inequalities and discrimination. We are currently supporting families in the UK, Malawi, India and Nepal who are challenged by poverty and disease to help break the cycle of poverty and injustice by creating sustainable healthcare solutions with our partners.
